Dark Horse Institute Recording Arts Students Begin Final Project

Actually, late last night our interns and students began setting up for live tracking to begin first thing this morning. Angela James leads a great up and coming country band and as the lead singer she rocks the roof. They are recording a 6-song EP with us, and the students will be tracking, mixing, and editing this as their “final exam” or “thesis” if you will. Great example here, of our recording arts students having to use a wide-cross section of knowledge and skills that they have acquired at DHI the past few months to make this recording a top notch product for “their client.” The “team” will be involved in all aspects of the production of this product. In two weeks Angela will have a very fine piece of creativity on disc, compliments of the music production skills of the students at Dark Horse Institute.
